Guacamole recipe image

  • 3 Avacado
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice/lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Cilantro
  • 1 red chilli deseeded
  • 1/2 tbsp Jalapeno
  • 1 Garlic clove or 1/2tsp garlic powder


  • Half tsp Cumin
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 1-2tsp Tabasco sauce/Hot sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of pepper



  1. For the prep, finely chop the onions and the jalapenos.
  2. Remove the soft part of the tomato and then finely chop what’s left of it.
  3. Deseed and chop the red chilly, mince the garlic and mix them together in a bowl. Season it with salt and pepper.
  4. Peel the avocado and then finely slice it. Mash the pieces with the mixture using a fork.
  5. Add lemon juice, cumin powder, tabasco sauce, salt, and mix well.
  6. Top it with freshly chopped cilantro and serve fresh.



  1. Lemon juice is highly recommended as it helps the avocado to remain fresh for a longer duration and prevents it from turning brown.
  2. As this is a small twist on the classic guacamole, the use of Tabasco sauce and red chili are optional and can be added according to one’s liking.
  3. Use a fork to mash the mixture and try not to overdo it as the guacamole can lose its classic texture .
